M.A.C Lightful Deep Ultramoisture Lush Cream Review

I have used this moisturiser some time back but I just can't help but feel the need to review on it. This is by so far the best cream that I have used. It has a very light gel-type texture and is quickly absorbed into the skin.

I remember using this for 3 months and noticed a radiant and clear skin texture. No breakouts no clogged pores no T-zone shine. It is said to also reduce blemishes in the long run.

I would say this could probably be one of the best for normal to oily skin and people who are solely looking for a moisturiser without any other additional benefits. But I wouldn't recommend for dry-very dry skin because it is too light weight. But overall a worthy product to purchase.
Verdict: 9/10

It retails at S$63 at all mac stores.

Beauty Tip #1

Ease Up on Sweet Stuff!

Here's it. Why sugar is bad.
Listen up women, sugar causes
premature aging!
Glycation, a process where sugar binds
with protein in the body, hardens collagen.
Results? Older looking and less supple skin.

I think we all know what to do now for
beauty's sake.

'Extracted from GLOW
'
I read about so much raves on
the olay regenerist series on
forum sites and decided to give
this commonly-known-for-
matured-skin-but-disagreed-
by-women-in-their-twenties
cream a try.

For an on the shelf product in
the 40 range is a bit pricey for me.
But i got it nonetheless and have
been using it for almost 2 months.
So peeps, here's your review!

Raves:
- SPF 15
- Good for the really dry skin
- Very hydrating and the moisture stays on in the air-con room
- Good moisturiser base before applying powder
- No breakouts ( for me :) )
- Nice scent

Rants:
- Oily base, gets a bit oily on face when out in the sun
- Cream has a thick consistency, doesn't absorb thoroughly onto face
- $ $

Will i buy again?
I would consider if watsons has sale. So if you can get the
cream in the low 30 range, i think no harm to give it a try.
But if you hate this creamy feeling on your face then i
suggest not. Overall i would say this is a 7 out of 10.

Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild

So, I decided to do reviews and the first would be on Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild. This product has a very gentle formula, some what like a cream texture similar to those gel type moisturisers. After wash it sort of have a moisturising effect. I have been using this for the past 3 months and I noticed that I breakout much lesser, or not even, than I normally do with my past facial wash. But some may not like it because unlike those foamy ones, this doesn't leave the 'squeaky clean' feeling after wash which makes you feel that your face is thoroughly cleansed. That being said, you can be assured that the product is not stripping the natural oil off your face since it doesn't leave a tight feeling on your face.

I think it is worth the investment for $35 for 200ml. Recently I chanced upon a great deal at Chinatown People's Park which is selling at 30% off the retail price. That totals to $24.50 a bottle but you probably have to pre order if it's not on the shelf. Collection time is about 1-2 weeks.

If you have really dry skin and have problems finding one that really suits you, don't mind giving this a try. Overall I would give this 8/10.

If you have anything that you would like to share, please leave a comment. Thanks!
